Government Regulation igry09-04-2007 on board of the Ministry of Transportation and the Federal Customs Service (FCS), the first vice-premier Sergey Ivanov made a statement that the custom as a national body should be completely separated from commercial activities. Vice Prime Minister pointed out that the presence of intermediary firms that provide services for the rapid passage of the border, forcing carriers to pay additional funds for the function that should be provided entirely by the state. According to Ivanov, "commercial" activities of customs officials is precisely one of the main reasons many kilometers of queues at the border, Interfax reports. The question of whether to simplify customs procedures and make the border convenient for conscientious carriers posed a long time. Many experts note that the "harsh" customs legislation in Russia, only leads to more corruption and increase the number of companies that the money promised to simplify and speed up all customs procedures. Thus, in the Russian market for a long time, there are customs brokers. They help their clients quickly and correctly arrange all the necessary documentation to declare the goods to understand complicated law. And all these services are carried out legitimately and under a special license. Meanwhile, the government is quite strong, indicating that such a distinction would help in the fight against corruption and will lead to increased trade. "The task of government - to promote the maximal simplification of customs procedures, of course, without compromising quality control. And this task is feasible, "- said Sergey Ivanov. Lily Subin
