Today the State Duma adopted on second reading a bill on direct damages CMTPL. Despite the fact that its provisions are burdensome for insurers is likely in this form it comes to the signature of the president. Under the bill the insured amount, within which the insurer agrees upon the occurrence of each insurance case to compensate victims of injury to life, health or property has risen to 160 thousand rubles to each victim. Recall that the current compensation of harm to life or health of up to 160,000 rubles, with the participation of one victim, and up to 240 thousand rubles, if their number is greater, with damaging property of a victim - not more than 120 thousand rubles (Article 7 of the Act of 25 April 2002 № 40-FZ).
