The global economy rules igry12-03-2009 Why China Belarusian rubles? China and Belarus will carry out mutual exchange of equal amounts of national currencies in order to continue to abandon the U.S. dollar and the euro in bilateral trade. Experts surprised by this "financial curiosity." What is more - politics or attempts to support exporters? Yesterday it became known that China and Belarus have taken the first step to a transition in the mutual trade in national currencies. Namely, National Bank of Belarus and the People's Bank of China on March 11 signed the Belarusian-Chinese agreement on a currency swap. The deal provides for mutual exchange of equal amounts of national currencies. Thus, in the coming days will receive from Belarus China 20 billion yuan (about $ 2.8 billion), which will be credited to the composition of its reserves (GCR). In response to Belarus will transfer to the PRC 8 trillion rubles, which at current exchange rate is the same amount.
