Monopolists artificially superhigh prices for jet fuel and diesel, are stated in the FAS. Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has responded to the call of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to wake up and take action in connection with the sharp rise in prices for jet fuel in Russia. Charges of violating the law brought all the major oil and gas companies, including Lukoil, Gazprom Neft, TNK-BP, Rosneft and Surgutneftegaz. FAS argues that monopolists artificially superhigh prices for jet fuel, which has already affected how the business of Russian airlines, as well as on the purse of tourists forced to pay the infamous "fuel surcharge", which this week rose again, according to Interfax. This summer, the concept of "fuel surcharge" has firmly entered the lexicon of Russians leaving for vacation. Whereas previously, in addition to travel packages people pay more than a visa, now all citizens without exception, including children, have to compensate airlines for the purchase of kerosene.
