FAS questioned the need for phytosanitary inspection of all vehicles entering the country. The Office is concerned that such a measure will only lead to extortion from the car owners. Antimonopolschiki filed a case against Rosselkhoznadzor and FCS that new regulations for import of machinery invented. Russian fans of cars from abroad have become accustomed to various uncomfortable decisions by the authorities. So, earlier this year the government, seeking support in a crisis of local automakers introduced protective duties on foreign cars to run from abroad.
