Russia is creating alternative energy

Energy Proizvodstvo20-06-2007 not only hoping for oil, Russia has also opted for nuclear energy. After a long break in the country resume construction of power plants from the ground up. It will continue at an unprecedented pace. This will be accompanied by structural reforms. The modern world is increasingly turning to the question: "What comes after oil?" How can growing energy needs will be met in 40-50 years when the global reserves of hydrocarbon fuels will start to dwindle? Today, as part of the problem throughout the world has seen a renaissance of nuclear energy. So, now in 30 countries and operates 442 nuclear reactors with total capacity of nearly 369 million kilowatts. According to Deputy IAEA Director General Yuri Sokolov, if it is plant produce 16% of the world's electricity, then in the next 13 years, the share of nuclear power in the world energy may rise to 30%, should be operational up to 130 nuclear reactors, and the total nuclear power capacity will reach 430 million kilowatts. Against this background, Russia, even with huge hydrocarbon reserves in recent years has headed the innovative development of science-intensive industries, including in the sphere of alternative nuclear power. And if the "time of troubles" since the early 90's in our country was only dostroeno 3 NPP, and no one - from the ground up, but today the situation has changed radically.
